Help us illustrate that energy efficient buildings are cost competitive
The NC Sustainable Energy Association
is looking for examples of successful projects
that have been completed under the 2012 NC Energy Conservation Code, which can
be used to educate legislators, the Governor’s Office, the NC Building Code
Council, and other involved stakeholders. Our goal is to illustrate that energy
efficient buildings are cost competitive when long term energy and financial
savings are considered.
We can’t do it alone...
Advocacy plays an important role in who we are and what we do. We believe that the green building movement has the power to change the way we live today and the ability to transform the legacy we leave tomorrow. So it’s no surprise that we act to advance green building throughout the country – in our cities, small towns, schools, workplaces, retail spaces and in our homes. We can’t do it alone. We need your help. Successful, game-changing advocacy starts at the local level with you. We need your active support of USGBC initiatives and your individual efforts to make green buildings a reality where you live. Keep up-to-date on green building advocacy issues, campaigns and coalitions and remember to get join USGBC North Carolina chapter to affect change.
Contact your legislators for a meeting or to offer words of support for our mission.
